Council members' role

Community council members are our eyes and ears in the community. They play a key role in keeping us connected.

Community council members are:

  • Actively involved with community groups
  • Connected within their business community
  • Advocates for the credit union way of banking
  • Willing to look critically at Servus Credit Union and share their opinions, both positive and constructive.

Our 38 community councils meet four times a year with their local branch manager to receive an update from Servus and to discuss topics relevant to their community and to Servus overall. As a credit union owned by our members, this is an important way to give our members a voice.

If you are interested in taking part in a community council, or want more information, contact your local branch manager or email Community.Council@servus.ca.
