The teams in our branches are the best at what they do, but they couldn't do their jobs without the many people who support our organizational infrastructure and provide specialized expertise.
In addition to positions within our branches, Servus offers career opportunities in a variety of areas, such as:
Accounting and Finance
This team handles financial reporting and accounts payable and receivable. They also balance internal accounts and manage information reporting and analysis and government reporting.
Administration & Support Services
We have a group of departments responsible for mortgage administration, consumer loans administration, electronic document management, business lending administration, central administration, centralized investment administration and insurance administration.
This team is responsible for auditing banking and lending procedures, reporting monthly audits to the Board of Directors and preparing reports for the annual report to external auditors.
Our Business Banking team manages our relationships with our commercial and agricultural members to ensure their business needs are met. This includes business and agricultural loans, mortgages and investments.
Human Resources handles our recruitment, employee relations, learning and professional development, leadership development, change management, and performance management. They also administer the Total Rewards strategy which includes payroll, benefits, rewards and recognition and compensation. We provide many learning options for staff including a Learning Centre (soon to be a Corporate University) with dedicated trainers who are well versed in banking, as well the opportunity to participate in related internal and external courses.
Information Services provide information management systems for all our branches and departments. They also assist branches and departments with hardware and software issues, and supervise the networks and ATMs. The IS department participates in the development of updates to the Intranet and Internet and provides database updates and reports.
This department supports the business goals of Servus by enhancing brand awareness and reputation. They are responsible for research, corporate social responsibility, internal and external communications and all marketing activities at a branch and corporate level.
Member Contact Centre
Our teams in the Member Contact Centres, located in Edmonton, Red Deer and Lloydminster, answer general inquiries and ensure that incoming calls are managed and transferred to the appropriate people. They also handle a variety of banking transactions including loan or mortgage applications.
This team plans, organizes and manages resources to assist Servus Credit Union in successfully completing strategic initiatives.
Wealth Strategies and Insurance
We have a team of experts in the financial planning field. They take a comprehensive look at a client’s entire financial picture and help with investment, tax, estate, retirement, education and insurance planning.
