CAFT system security update for business members

In light of recent fraudulent activity targeting users of the Customer Automated Funds Transfer (CAFT) system, Servus is providing the following instructions for business banking members to take immediate action to protect your account credentials, files and transactions related to this system.

Please note, the CAFT system remains safe and secure. Recent instances of fraud are a result of individual users compromising their credentials through email phishing or scam websites.

As referenced in our recent emails to you, please share the following videos and instructional documents with your employees who use the CAFT system.

These files will assist you in identifying your needs for unique system IDs for each user (if required); installing MFA if you don't have it already; resetting passwords; reviewing files daily; reporting suspicious transactions; and observing best practices in cybersecurity.
