BANKING UPDATES / FOR FORMER CONNECTFIRST MEMBERS

    Debit card

Your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card will be replaced with a Servus Member Card®, which is a Debit Mastercard. Your new card will have a different look and card number.

You'll continue to use it for everyday debit purchases and ATM withdrawals. Some online merchants may accept Debit Mastercard differently from Visa® Debit. Merchant acceptance is determined by each merchant and may change over time.

    Receiving your new card

Who will receive a new card

If you’ve used your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card at least once between August 2025 and August 24, 2026 and we have your current mailing address, you can expect to receive a new Servus Member Card® in the mail before conversion.

If you haven't used your card during that time, or you don't receive a card in the mail, you can get a Servus Member Card® at any Servus branch after conversion. You can also contact our MCC to request one by mail.

    When your card arrives

Your new Servus Member Card® will arrive by mail before conversion weekend.

Keep the card in a safe place, but continue using your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card until we confirm when to start using your new card.

When the new card arrives, check that the name and card information match the information in the letter. If something does not look right, contact us.

If your card does not arrive

If you expect a new Servus Member Card® but do not receive one before conversion, continue using your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card until the confirmed card switch time.

After conversion, you can get a Servus Member Card® at any Servus branch. You can also contact us to request one by mail.

    Activating and using your card

When to start using your card

Keep your new Servus Member Card® in a safe place when it arrives.

Continue using your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card for now. During conversion weekend, your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card will stop working and your new Servus Member Card® will take its place.

We’ll confirm the timing with you in advance.

Do not destroy your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card until Servus confirms that you no longer need it.

    Your PIN and first transaction

Your new Servus Member Card® will use the PIN from your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card that was on file when your new card was prepared.

You will not receive a new PIN in the mail.

Once we confirm that your new card is ready to use, activate it by inserting the card and entering your PIN at an ATM or payment terminal. Your first transaction must use the card's chip and your PIN. After that, you can use tap if it is enabled on your card. If tap is currently turned off on your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card, it will remain turned off on your new Servus Member Card®. You do not need to set this preference again.

    Account used for card transactions

If you have more than one account, your new Servus Member Card® may use a different account for some purchases or withdrawals.

After you begin using your card, check your account activity to make sure transactions are coming from the account you expect. If something does not look right, contact us so we can review your card setup.

Recurring payments, mobile wallets and multiple cards

Recurring payments using your card number

If a business charges a recurring payment to your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card number, you'll need to give the business your new Servus Member Card® information after your new card is activated.

Adding your card to a mobile wallet

After your new Servus Member Card® is activated, add it to the wallet on your mobile device.

Once your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card stops working, remove it from your mobile wallet.

If you receive more than one card

You may receive more than one new Servus Member Card® if you currently have more than one connectFirst Visa® Debit Card, such as separate cards for personal and business accounts.

Each new Servus Member Card will replace a different connectFirst Visa® Debit Card.

If you already have a Servus Member Card® for a separate Servus membership, keep it. You may also receive a new Servus Member Card® for your membership originally with connectFirst. Each card will remain associated with separate accounts.

    Card limits, security and support

    Your card limits

Your purchase and ATM withdrawal limits may be different from the limits on your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card.

If the new limits do not meet your needs, contact us after conversion to have them reviewed.

    Lost, stolen or compromised cards

If your Servus Member Card® is lost, stolen or being used without your permission, contact us immediately so we can protect your account and arrange a replacement card if needed.

    Protecting your card

Never share your PIN, password or one-time passcode with anyone.

Protect your card, PIN and any one-time passcodes used to confirm online purchases.

Servus will never call, text or email you unexpectedly to ask for this information.

Shield the keypad when entering your PIN.

Review your account activity and report anything you do not recognize.
