BANKING UPDATES / FOR FORMER CONNECTFIRST MEMBERS

    Payments and transfers

Most payments, deposits and transfers set up using your connectFirst account information will continue automatically after conversion.

Some information will need to be reviewed or saved, particularly if you use Interac e-Transfer® or have payment arrangements connected to your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card number.

    Direct deposits

Existing direct deposits to your connectFirst accounts will automatically route to your new Servus accounts.

You do not need to provide your new account number to organizations that already deposit money directly into your account.

    Pre-authorized debits

Existing pre-authorized debits, sometimes called PADs, that are withdrawn directly from your connectFirst accounts will automatically route to your new Servus accounts.

    Bill payments and scheduled transfers

    Your bill payees

Your existing bill payees will be transferred to Servus mobile and online banking.

If you currently pay bills from accounts in both connectFirst and Servus mobile and online banking, you may see duplicate payees after conversion. Before making a payment, confirm that you’ve selected the correct payee and account. You can then remove any duplicate payees you no longer need.

    Scheduled bill payments

Your existing scheduled bill payments will continue automatically after conversion. You do not need to set them up again.

You do not need to update businesses that already withdraw payments directly from your account.

    Interac e-Transfer®

    Your recipients

Your connectFirst Interac e-Transfer® recipient list will move to Servus online and mobile banking.

Before conversion, take a screenshot of your recipient list. After conversion, you can use the screenshot to confirm that the people and businesses you use are available.

    Autodeposit

Your connectFirst Interac e-Transfer® Autodeposit registration will not carry over to Servus online and mobile banking.

After conversion, you will need to sign in to Servus online or mobile banking and set up Autodeposit again.

    Your Interac e-Transfer® history

Your detailed history of Interac e-Transfer®s sent and received through connectFirst online and mobile banking will not move to Servus online and mobile banking.

If you need details such as the recipient, email address, message or transfer status for bookkeeping or other records, take screenshots of the transactions you want to keep before conversion weekend.

Your historical connectFirst statements will continue to show the Interac e-Transfer® transactions posted to your account, but they may not include the full transfer details available in connectFirst online and mobile banking today.

If you use Interac e-Transfer® through both connectFirst and Servus

If you currently have separate Interac e-Transfer® profiles in connectFirst and Servus online and mobile banking, your connectFirst profile will become the profile used after conversion.

Before conversion, take a screenshot of the recipients saved in your Servus profile. After conversion, use the screenshot to add any recipients that are missing.

    Limits and fees

Your Interac e-Transfer® limits may be different after conversion. If the available limits do not meet your needs, contact us after conversion to have them reviewed.

Interac e-Transfer® fees will depend on the Servus account you use. See the account information and transaction and service fee table for the fees that will apply after conversion.

    Interac Sign-In Service

If you use Interac Sign-In Service to access another organization's website, such as the Canada Revenue Agency, you'll use your Servus online and mobile banking credentials after conversion.

Setting up new payments after conversion

Your existing direct deposits and pre-authorized debits will continue automatically. You’ll need your new Servus banking details only when setting up a new direct deposit or pre-authorized debit after conversion.

You can get the required account and routing information by:

Signing in to Servus online banking, opening the Accounts menu and selecting Void Cheque/Direct Deposit Form

Requesting a Notice of Account Information form at a branch or the Member Contact Centre

You’ll need to update recurring payments charged to your connectFirst Visa® Debit Card by providing your new Servus Member Card® number to each vendor after your new card is ready to use.
