Servus Credit Union (Servus) has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies by Deloitte Canada for the 22nd consecutive year – the longest-standing credit union in Alberta to achieve this designation.

Servus Credit Union Ltd. is pleased to announce that at their Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on March 5, 2025, members voted 91% in favour of a Special Resolution to change the credit union’s legal name (Connect First and Servus Credit Union Ltd.) to align with its trade name (Servus Credit Union).

Servus Credit Union (Servus) is reporting a promising start to fiscal year 2025 with a balance sheet portraying total assets of $29.4 billion. The first quarter also marks an increase in assets under management to $38.4 billion, an approximate $800 million jump from the previous quarter.

The merged credit union, now shifting to operate under the trade name of Servus Credit Union (Servus), marks the end of its fiscal year with a strong balance sheet portraying total assets at $29.3 billion and assets under management of $37.6 billion.

As our credit union unites, it’s important for our brand to reflect this unity. Our merged credit union will operate under the Servus Credit Union brand going forward.

Connect First and Servus Credit Union Ltd. Shares $88 Million in Profits with Members in Year of Historic Merger

Following the historic merger between Servus and connectFirst Credit Unions, the newly created Connect First and Servus Credit Union Ltd. (CFSCU) is marking its first reporting period with sound financial health. The merger was finalized on May 1, 2024.

Servus Credit Union is announcing a donation of $30,000 for relief and recovery efforts to support the Town of Jasper and surrounding communities following the wildfires that devastated the region in July 2024, and which continue to burn.

Following several consecutive quarters of strong performance and growth, Servus Credit Union Ltd. (Servus) achieved significant asset growth in its second quarter of fiscal 2024, reaching $21.1 billion in total assets, up 10.5% from the same period last year.
